Fr. Lud van Dongen, 95 years old, passed away on 8 July 2017 in Bandung, Indonesia, at 6 in the morning.
He entered the novitiate in 1940 and made his first profession on 25 September 1941 in Ginneken (Netherlands).
He was ordained as a priest in Valkenburg (Netherlands) on 1 March 1947.
He spent most of his life as a missionary in Indonesia.
The celebration of Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday at St. Gabriel Parish in Bandung, Indonesia.
