The Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption in New Bedford, founded in 1905 to serve the Cape Verdean community and now led by Father David Lupo, ss.cc., marked its 120th anniversary with an art exhibition showcasing nearly 60 works by parishioners, including paintings, sculptures, textiles, and sketches.
The event featured live island music and attracted neighbors and visitors from other parishes.
