The Congregation of the Sacred Hearts commemorated its 225 years of history at a gathering held on Monday, January 19, in Macul (Chile), bringing together brothers and sisters of the SSCC, as well as representatives of schools, parishes, young people, and lay members from various ministries. The day was marked by grateful remembrance, prayer—especially for the victims of the fires in the Biobío and Ñuble regions—and a forward-looking perspective inspired by the XXI Provincial Chapter.
During the celebration, the Provincial Superior, Sandro Mancilla sscc, presented the main guidelines of the Chapter, highlighting it as a “roadmap” for the years ahead, in continuity with the Province’s processes of renewal and cultural transformation. The gathering included moments of reflection, music, testimonies, and the presentation of the 2025 Yearbook of the magazine Nuestra Vida, concluding with a fraternal moment that reaffirmed the sense of communion and shared mission.
