From May 1 to 3, 2017, in our monastery Christus Rex in Polanica Zdrój took place the third SSCC meeting of Altar Boys. This event was attended by almost 50 altar boys with their parents and siblings coming from parishes run by our Congregation in Poland.
We had a good opportunity to show to young people how we live our charism and a specially our spirit of communion. Although the weather was not so good there was sunshine in our hearts. During this meeting there was time for prayer, joy, togetherness and many different competitions, such as football matches for the “Provincial Cup”. This time the “Provincial Cup” was won by the Altar Boys from Stara Lomnica.
Our meeting was prepared by Fr. Tomasz Pawlukowski sscc and Fr. Kamil Wawro sscc with the help and guidance of our Provincial Fr. Piotr Budrewicz sscc. The altar boys were brought by Fr. Krzysztof Wasiuk sscc from Cieszecin, Fr. Wojciech Bartnicki sscc from Wroclaw and several from Stara Lomnica, Fr. Tomasz Pawlukowski sscc from Owinska and there were several altar boys from local parishes. Very big help was given by our two novices Grzegorz and Jakub and our prenovice Michal. It was a very good meeting and all of the participants expressed their desire to meet again next year.
