From 1st - 3rd May in our monastery Christ the King in Polanica Zdrój, we had our 5th annual meeting of altar servers who serve in our SSCC parishes. This year there were around 50 boys and their families from Owinska, Cieszecin, Gwizdaly and Polanica Zdrój. The meeting began with a welcome by the Provincial, Wojciech Kotowski SSCC. Later that day we gathered around a bonfire to get to know each other better and to sing many joyful songs. On 2nd May, we celebrated mass and after that the football competition began. There were many attractions and lots of happy moments during the day. This year the Provincial Cup went to the Altar boys from Owinska. On May 3rd everybody went to Stary Wielislaw - where we have the Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrow -to celebrate the feast Day of Our Lady, Queen of Poland. After lunch, all headed back to their parishes. As always it was a great time spent together and a good time to share our sscc spirit with young people. We give thanks to Fr. Tomasz Pawlukowski SSCC and Fr. Kamil Wawro SSCC for the very good preparation for this gathering.
