On December 3rd, in our SSCC parish in Owinska, there was a “desert day” for altar boys from all the deanary. The meeting was organized by Fr. Tomasz Pawlukowski sscc who is responsible for altar boys in that area. The meeting was attended by 60 boys together with their parish priests. Our gathering was led by Fr. Kamil Wawro sscc together with the novices Jakub and Grzegorz.
It started with an Adoration and time for confession. Then there was Mass with a homily about the duties and privilege of altar boys. Then was time for tea and cake and finally, there was sharing in small groups.
This meeting was a good time to show our sscc spirit to young boys from different parishes and it was a good experience of community. It was also nice time to show our novices parishes where our Congregation works.
