The brothers of the Chilean Province had their annual retreat July 10 through 16. It was held in Auco Rinconda, in the Region of Valparaiso. The theme was mercy. Leopoldo Antolín sscc of the Ibérica Province accompanied the brothers which took the form of the Ignatius Exercises but setting out from the spirituality of the Congregation : merciful love of the hearts of Jesus and Mary.
Leopoldo (“Poldo”) is pastor of Malaga and spent a lot of time in initial formation in the Province of Ibérica. At present he is the formator of the pre novices.
At the end of the retreat, Saturday July 16 beginning at 7 p.m. we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the priestly ordination of José Vicente Odriozola sscc at SSCC College of Viña-Valparaiso. We thanked God for his ministry and his service of so many people.
