From 20-25 January, a workshop/Assembly of the Province of Chile has been taking place in Punta de Tralca, close to the Pacific coast. During these days thirty-six brothers have been meeting to reflect on "Pastoral and community discernment". They were led by Fernando Tapia, a priest of the Archdiocese of Santiago, as well as Sergio Micco, director of the Council of the National Institute of Human Rights (INDH), who tackled the current crisis of Chilean society.
Within the Assembly (22-24), the third stage of the Provincial Chapter of the Province was held, in which some decisions were made regarding the "interior life", pastoral and missionary discernment and the diagnosis of the Chilean society and Church. Fernando Cordero was present on behalf of the General Government.
