
From June 22nd to 27th, the Assembly of the Sisters of the Delegation of Africa was held in Kinshasa, Congo. In addition to the delegates, Nuria Arias, provincial of Spain, Nuria Lobo, Councilor of Spain and Alicia Mamani, General Councilor, were present. The Assembly began with a day of prayer and formation on the subject of leadership, as a call to service and the need to live it in unity and centered on Christ. The following day was spent working on the process that the Congregation is living.


In an atmosphere of joy and searching together the sisters worked on the Statutes, the Plan of Apostolic Religious Life and the Government, Formation and Finance reports.
At the end of the first day, during the Eucharist Madeleine Bolena (Kabibi) was named as the new Coordinator of the Delegation. The Assembly has elected Brigida Macamo as the first councilor Jacqueline Ngunza, as second councilor.
