Then an Update was given on the various projects and services in the province: youth and pas
toral vocation: to host youth in vocational discernment in the community of Picpus ("live and serve");strengthening visibility, the common involvement of brothers of the communities of Picpus and St. Gabriel; ongoing formation, particularly in communities of older brothers. There was also information given about patrimonial management and the economy of the province.
During the exc
hanges that ensued, some challenges were clearly marked out: to enrich the Congregational proposal around Saint Gabriel and Picpus communities, to accompany French Polynesia in its inclusion within CAP; to hear the calls that come from the new ways for the SSCC to be present in Europe, as in Louvain or for
the possibility of a new front in Morocco. Meeting these challenges and others that come from the local communities, is possible only when they are viewed in the perspective of strengthen the mission of the Congregation in France and elsewhere, and counting on the help of other communities of the Congregation.


On the final day, with the community of Sarzeau, the jubilarians present at the meeting were celebrated: Lucien Adami (70th anniversary of profession), Gérard de Villiers (60th anniversary of profession), Henri Olier (60th anniversary of priestly ordination), Alban Le Gargean and André Mark (50th anniversary of ordination), Michel Cerles (30th anniversary of ordination) and Christian Flottes (25th anniversary of profession).
