On the afternoon of July 15, the participants arrived from Monteagudo (Belgium) at the Lycée Saint-Jacques de Compostelle in Poitiers, where they were received by our brother Bertrand Cherrier sscc, Provincial Superior of France.
On July 16, they made a pilgrimage to the Grand'Maison, where they were welcomed by Jeanne Cadiou sscc and Marie-Gabrielle Renou sscc, who, in groups, showed the visitors the different parts of the house, especially those places most closely linked to the Founders: the Good Mother's room, the Good Father's "hiding places," and the Founders' Oratory.
At the same time, a workshop coordinated by Noemí García sscc was underway, framing the visit to this landmark site from within our SSCC identity.
In the afternoon, a day and a half of retreat begins, led by our sister Mercedes Bayo Mayor sscc, of the Province of Spain and a member of the Commission for Spiritual and Historical Patrimony.
