On 18 November, the United Nations Fund for Children (UNICEF) gave special acknowledgment to thirteen personalities of Peru for their career and work for Peruvian children and adolescents. This recognition was part of the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which was held on November 20.
Among those whose work defending the rights of children and adolescents was recognized by UNICEF is Fr. Gastón Garatea sscc, national coordinator of the Steering Group Investment in childhood.
