Beginning of the interprovincial novitiate (Chile)

A new experience of novitiate having an interprovincial character has been launched today in the congregation. It begins with a single novice. The canonical act of foundation took place on Wednesday 12 January in El Quisco, a small town on the central coast of Chile.

The novitiate is composed of the novice master, Cristian Sandoval, ss.cc, from the Chile-Argentina Province (photo right), the socius, Arnaldo Jara, ss.cc, from the region of Paraguay (photo left) and the novice from Chile-Argentina, Elías Lara (photo centre).

The first stage of this novitiate takes place in El Quisco, located in the region of Valparaiso, on the Pacific coast, and will last until mid-February this year. After that the novitiate moves close to the Atlantic coast, to the community of Merlo (diocese of Argentina), Buenas Aires joining Nelson Rivera, ss.cc. in the accompaniment of the parish of San José, in Libertad.
