St. Damien Church, Ludru, Odisha has twelve villages, every village aims to have their own chapels for their daily prayer and gatherings. This parish was bifurcated and made a parish on 11th July 2018 and given to ss.cc. for pastoral care.
The first chapel was planned to build few years ago. Due to corona situation it took 5 years to complete. Finally with the help many good hearts, we were able to complete. On 13th May, feast of the patroness “our Lady of Fatima”, Bishop Sarat Nayak, Bishop of Berhampur Blessed the chapel and Fr. Ajith Kumar.ss.cc. Regional superior inaugurated the chapel.
