The community of Picpus was canonically visited by Patricia and Margarita from 21-24 September. This intergenerational community is integrated by six sisters who have decided to make the best possible use of the resources they have at home to contribute to the care of the common home: cultivation of vegetable gardens, reduction of the use of plastics, consumption of seasonal fruits and vegetables, among others.
Welcoming is an important aspect of the sisters' daily mission. In one part of the house live young lay students, another part is rented to the seminary of the Diocese of Paris and the community welcomes sscc student sisters from different parts of the congregation; this is an experience that enriches them and gives meaning to their stay in Picpus.
