The visit to the Damien community took place from February 25 to March 3. At present it is composed of four sisters in perpetual vows, among them Colette Buhangize sscc, Territorial Coordinator, and four sisters in temporary vows.
On March 4 they visited the Brothers' community in Micondo where they had the opportunity to speak with Camille Sapu sscc, provincial, and to share a meal with the Novitiate Community. They also visited the Coudrin community where the Postulancy is located.
In addition to the visit to the community, they visited the Fr Damien Centre, the sections that make up the Centre and met with the teachers. It has been a time of grace that has helped them to get to know the life of the communities and the mission.
