The canonical visit to the sisters of France began. The first community visited by Patricia and Marguerite, from September 16-19, was Poitiers, the Congregation's house of origin. There are 11 sisters there, organized in two presences, 7 in the EHPAD and 4 in the smaller house.

Their community project is oriented towards welcoming sscc brothers, sisters and laity, who seek to know or deepen their knowledge of the congregational history. This community is attentive to the care and maintenance of the property, which is very large, and to safeguarding the archives, the museum, among others. The daily tasks are multiple for the sisters who are in good health. They try to be a support to each other and to rejoice the fraternal life in a very creative way.
On Saturday, September 17, Heritage Day was celebrated in France, and the Grand'Maison was on the list of historically significant sites in Poitiers. The groups of visitors were accompanied by Jeanne Cadiou and Jeanne Cécile Deloustal, who took a tour of some parts of the house, prepared for the occasion.

The sisters appreciate belonging to this community, but they also realistically see their fragilities due to age, health and, in a special way, they are concerned about the future of this place.
