Canonical Visit to the Territory of Ecuador-Colombia. Latina American Zone (Sisters)

On Sunday the 3rd of October, Esther Alicia Armijos, Coordinator of the Territory of Ecuador-Colombia, arrived in Bogota (Colombia) to begin the Canonical Visitation together with Monica Jimenez, Delegate Superior of Latin America, starting with the communities, ministries and mission in Colombia.

The first community we visited was Bogotá, with three sisters. On the 6th of October we travelled to Medellín, where eight sisters live, some of them working in the SSCC School.  On the 10th of October we arrived in Pereira, where five sisters live. On the 14th of October we travelled to Las Mesas, the insertion mission, which is very distant from the other communities, where two sisters live.

We shared what the sisters experience daily, their mission, their projects, the challenges they face in these times.

On the 19th of October we will begin the visit to the communities and ministries in Ecuador, where there are 11 communities, where the mission is lived out in parish ministry, in education, in welcoming refugees, in insertion and missionary communities and in the community of elderly sisters.
