The archbishop of Seville, Juan José Asenjo, has appointed thirteen new canons of the Cathedral Chapter in the context of the renewing of assignments that takes place every year in the archdiocese at this time. Carlos Navascués has obtained the dignity of honorary canon.
Carlos has lived a life dedicated to teaching music at the SSCC San José College in Seville and also as the auxiliary organist of the Seville Cathedral. With this appointment, the metropolitan archbishop recognizes a whole work of dedication to evangelization through music.
