We are celebrating because 60 years ago, the Lord saw fit to sow the seed of the SSCC charism in Paraguay. We thank the Lord of Life for his goodness and faithfulness to us despite our fragility. He has led us by the hand in this evangelising mission, putting our hearts into our beloved Paraguay.
Throughout this time, we have walked with the conviction that He created us out of Love and to love, bringing His Gospel to life in this work.
We give thanks for our Sisters Teodora Lucio, Margarita María Fernández and Pura Fernández and for the first Brothers, who, moved by the missionary spirit, brought the seeds of the SSCC charism with the generous dedication of their lives, bearing witness with simplicity and availability in this land. Today we continue to persevere with our sorrows and joys, but with a firm step, for we are the fruits of this generous dedication.
Committed to responding with boldness and confidence to the challenges presented to us by Paraguayan society, always invited to collaborate in the construction of a more just and humane world, through the care of the person and the transformation of the human heart, following the example of our Founders, may we know how to Contemplate, Live and Proclaim Merciful Love wherever life cries out for it today.
