The Emmaus College of Argentina celebrated the feast of its patron with a Eucharist presided by Fr. Gabriel Horn sscc, responsible for the Sacred Hearts community in Argentina. Already, in the early morning, you could catch a fraternal spirit, expressed by cordial greetings, effusive hugs.
The Chapel of the Sacred Hearts was soon filled with members of diverse ages, representing all levels of the school: children, youth, teachers, officers and maintenance personnel, parents, administrative staff. The liturgy was well prepared, characterized by joy, a festive touch, a community at prayer, an active participation. The presence of a large group of young people, from the youth communities, enriched the celebration with beautiful songs of deep religious and liturgical content.
The theme revolved around the sscc emblem. At the moment of the offertory, representatives of the different levels of the school composed the emblem, carrying up the seven elements that comprise it. It was a moment which served to raise the awareness of the whole educational community to the richness of the ss.cc. spirituality.
A fraternal sharing followed the Eucharist. Once again, a family atmosphere prevailed. This allowed us to get in close touch with what this year’s school slogan says: "Educating hearts to build a healthy and reconciled society "
