On Friday, the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the brothers and sisters of the communities of Rome gathered in Via Rivarone to celebrate the Eucharist which was presided over by Derek Laverty. This was followed by a meal and and sharing. In his homily, Alberto Toutin, recently returned from India, recalled that "the Heart of Jesus loves everyone in general and each person in particular. The Heart of Jesus has a special love for the poor.” The fiftieth anniversary of the presence of the sisters in Kinshasa and the mission of our brothers and sisters in India were remembered in our prayers.
