On Saturday morning (10.00-12.15) 20 June, a meeting of sscc sisters, brothers and laity took place on the occasion of the Feast of the Heart of Mary, titular head of the Congregation alongside the Heart of Jesus. The event, realised via the Zoom platform, was led by Guillermo Rosas sscc, who gave way to the intervention of various communities composed of seculars, brothers and sisters from Chile, Argentina, Colombia and Rome. Among those who took part were our Superior Generals Patricia and Alberto.
The event was carried out in three moments: initial prayer, the group meeting and the final prayer. For the group meeting, this question was the source for reflection: "From the situation that we are living in today and in the places where we live and work, what would we like to say to the Heart of Jesus, what would we like to say to the Heart of Mary?" In the group meeting, Alberto Toutin pointed out, in line with the Gospel of the day: “Jesus was lost to us, and many people today are lost. Let's look for him with the desire that Maria had. And let us stay, like Mary, with more questions”.
The participants were very satisfied with this meeting that highlighted the Feasts of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
