In Poland, it is customary at Christmas time for a priest to visit families to bless their homes and bring blessings for the whole New Year.
The Monastery of Christ the King also held such a meeting on the eve of the Epiphany. The confreres gathered in the chapel and, after a prayer of blessing amidst the singing of carols with holy water and incense, walked through all the rooms and facilities of the Monastery.
On Epiphany Day, 6 January, our two parishes held carol singing and a nativity play together.
In the parish of Our Lady Help of Christians in Wroclaw, an evening of carol singing was held late in the afternoon, with many parishioners gathered. This can be seen in the video: https://goo.su/g32zMVA
On the other hand, in the parish of St. Margaret Martyr in Stara Lomnica, a nativity play was performed after Mass. The children of the school, under the direction of Father Joseph Kucinski SSCC, presented the events of the Nativity of Jesus. Previously, this performance had been staged in the primary school before Christmas, and now all parishioners and parents were able to see it. The performance was beautiful and deepened our joy of Christmas.
