On 10 March, the CIAL executive committee met online to prepare for the CIAL Assembly. At the beginning, Sister Mónica Jiménez sscc (Delegate Superior of Latin America) spoke about what was happening with the sisters in Latin America. The brothers then decided that the CIAL Assembly would be held online from 20 to 24 September. The following agenda was agreed: 1) vocation ministry; 2) initial formation; 3) pastoral and missionary conversion; 4) economy and solidarity; 5) policies for the prevention of abuse; 6) ongoing formation; and 7) the secular branch. It was agreed to reach a decision on the Interprovincial Novitiate 2022-2024 in June this year. We thank Raúl Pariamachi sscc for his service as coordinator of the CIAL during these years and wish him joy in the new paths that the Lord will show him.
René Cabezón will serve as coordinator of CIAL until the next assembly which will take place between 20-24 September.
