The visitation of the General Government in the province of Peru, carried out by Javier and Pankras, was concluded on May 21.
In the final assembly, attended by 21 brothers (two brothers could not participate due to health condition) and the two candidates, the visitors presented their conclusions which highlighted the achievements of the province (good direction; brave decisions in community life and new apostolic presence; good animation practices; real sharing of goods; common discernment, etc.) and they presented a list of 12 challenges concerning different areas of life in the province: initial formation, care for the elderly, new community missionary projects, pastoral animation in the school, earning money by the work of the brothers, etc.
The visitors also synthesized their responses of the brothers regarding the consultation on the project of creating a new province together with Ecuador and Colombia: everybody sees it as the direction to go ahead, but a good process of preparation is required, which takes into account the diversity that currently exists.
