On 14 April 2026, during Eastertide, we had the joy of gathering in Assembly at the regional community in Musina – Kinshasa, where Patricia Villarroel, Superior General, and Susana Villarreal, Vicar General, met with all the sisters of the Congo Region to conclude the canonical visit. We experienced a moment filled with gratitude for the welcome, the willingness, the preparation and the openness we found in every sister and community at the Damián Centre and the Aymer Centre.
This gathering allowed us to renew our commitment to continue walking faithfully in accordance with what God asks of us today as the SS.CC. community in the Congo, facing the challenges and strengthening our mission and service to the people of God.
