Father Bill Moore is a legendary fine artist based in Pomona, California. He is also a member of the US Province of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary who lives in California. From a very young age he has been inspired by the colours of the desert of Southern California, especially the colour of red iron oxide. This short film explores Fr. Bill’s art legacy and his impact on Southern Californian culture. Underpinning his art is his belief that “in the end, when all ceases to exist everything and everyone will be one”. In his name a non profit organisation has been set up to support emerging artists - the “Fr. Bill Moore Foundation for the Arts”.
