On Thursday afternoon, 5 January, 2023, another meeting of the Commission coordinating the preparations for the beatification of the Paris Martyrs of 1871 was held in the Diocesan House, in Paris. The meeting was attended by 13 people. Representatives responsible for various areas of preparation (logistics, liturgy, media, singing) reported on the progress of work, identifying matters that still need to be clarified or supplemented.
At the end of the meeting, the dates of the next meetings were decided, namely February and March of this year. The beatification of the Martyrs of 1871 is scheduled to take place in the church of St. Sulpice in Paris, on Saturday, 22 April, 2023, at 4.00 p.m.
