Pope Francis has called for a day of fasting and prayer for peace in Syria, in the entire Mideast region, and throughout the whole world to be held on Saturday, September 7th, 2013, the vigil of the Feast of the Nativity of Our Lady, whom we venerate as Queen of Peace.
The prayer vigil will be held in St. Peter's Square starting at 7 PM Rome Time and continuing until midnight. The Holy Father: “May a powerful cry for peace go up from every land!”
