On Saturday, 30 July, in the church of Notre Dame d'Afrique, in Kinshasa, a number of religious of different Congregations were ordained deacons. There were 22 in all. The ordaining bishop was the auxiliary bishop of Kinshasa, Bishop Carlos Ndaka. The Congregation had two candidates: Dança Roda and Christian Nkumbi.
It was a wonderful celebration. As Bishop Ndaka pointed out, any ordination is a sign of the liveliness of a congregation and also a small miracle of God.
