On the eve of Sunday, 19 January, as part of the octave of prayer for Christian unity, the sscc community in the parish of St-Leu St-Gilles hosted a time of ecumenical prayer with people coming from the local area of Val-de-Marne. Those who attended represented Orthodox, Protestant, evangelical, Catholic, and other unknown traditions. The SSCC formation community in Thiais took responsibility for the animation of the prayers and the songs. After vespers, there was time for light refreshments in the parish hall. In all it was a very pleasant and enriching time together. Our sscc sisters in Boissy-St-Leger also attended.
