The canonical visit to the Territory of Asia ended with the visit to the community of Bandung, Indonesia. At the end of the visit to each country, there was a meeting of the Zone in which the sisters of the country were able to share how they saw themselves in the process which the Congregation is making and the challenges involved as a result. They reflected on the attitudes to be strengthened, the commitments to be taken and the pillars which sustain our life, in order to assume the changes which the new Reorganization brings with it. There was also a meeting in each country with the different commissions which help to animate the life and mission of the sisters.
Throughout the whole visit, we had time to meet with the Brothers and with the members of the Secular Branch. We also had the opportunity to visit the establishments and works in which the sisters are involved.
At the end of the visit, there was a meeting with the new Government of the Zone, as Regina Mary Jenkins, Superior Delegate of the Zone and Helene Wood, Coordinator of the Territory Pacific/Hawaii were in Indonesia for the end of the canonical visit. In that meeting, appreciation was expressed for what the sisters where doing, highlighting the mission which is being carried out and the way they have been involved in the process, which the Congregation is living. At the same time, some concerns and suggestions for the future were shared.
