In his homily, Javier said: "In this Eucharist we also thank this magazine of our Congregation, a work of the Church, the magazine “21”; it has been publishing for one hundred years, one hundred years! It did not remain silent like Zacharias, but has spoken. One hundred years of publishing, talking, writing… many words! We are very happy, we are happy for the people who made the magazine possible. We do not look back, we look forward. "
At the time of the offerings, along with the bread and wine, several magazines were presented, as well as the cape worn by Father Damien in Molokai. The parish choir of San Víctor was in charge of the songs, and during communion, the singer-songwriter Maite López sang one of her best-known songs: "Amando hasta el extremo".
At the end of the celebration, the general secretary of the Catholic Union of the Press and Journalists of Spain (UCIPE), gave a certificate of recognition to the magazine for its career, highlighting "the informative and evangelizing work, and its marked social commitment, wishing it a very promising future, of which these first hundred years are only the beginning.”
