From the 9th to the 13th of May 2022, the Zone meeting was held in El Escorial, Madrid, gathering 19 Sisters from Europe and Africa. Sr. Margarita Orozco sscc represented the General Government. Fr. Aurelio Cayón sscc, Provincial of the Brothers in Spain, was present for some days. Fr. Nacho Moreno, sscc, moderated us in a competent, efficient and fraternal way.
One day was dedicated to the current theme in the universal Church: "The abuse of power and conscience".
The evaluation of the path taken by the Zone since the 2018 General Chapter, an evaluation made through the participation of all the communities, helped us to make our "Roadmap" for the next few years, until the General Chapter of 2024.
The Assembly was experienced as a strong time of feeling ourselves as a "body", all concerned with the whole of our varied realities. Moments of prayer gave us the opportunity to remain focused on the Essential: at the service of the SS.CC., in the life and mission entrusted to us.
