Abundance of Grace!
‘The hills are girded with joy
The meadows covered with flocks
The valleys are decked with wheat
They shout for joy, yes, they sing’
(Ps-64)
As the Psalm proclaims the sentiments of graceful abundance in nature, the
Region of India rejoices over the Final Profession and Diaconate Ordination of two of our young brothers: Tileswar Nayak and Sujay Sardar.
These two events are powerful witnesses to the world that our consecration brings healing and communion in the dehumanized society of today. They are seeking God, surrendering their will to the sentiments of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. As the sunflower that follows every moment of the sun, so our brothers committed themselves to be moved by God. Perpetual Profession is a decisive moment that incorporates the members into the Congregation with free choice.
Fr. Sudhir Nayak, Regional Superior, Provincial Delegate, received the vows on January 2, 2015
. His Grace Most Rev. Thomas D’Souza, Archbishop of Kolkata, ordained our brothers to the Order of Diaconate on January 3, 2015. Both these occasions took place at Sacred Hearts Seminary Chapel, Kolkata.
The solemn celebrations witnessed the grace filled presence of priests, religious, family members and well-wishers. We give thanks to Almighty God for His goodness and to our brothers Sujay and Tileswar for their generous commitment.
