The brothers who have been in the Philippines, preparing for their final vows, concluded their thirty-day retreat at Tagaytay with the accompaniment of Michael Ruddy, ss.cc provincial of England-Ireland. On December 12 they go back to Cainta to begin the process of evaluation of the six months lived together. On Thursday December 15, the team charged with preparing and carrying out the program will undertake its own evaluation of this international experience of the Congregation.
Five of these brothers will make their final vows on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 9:30 in the morning, in the parish church of The Resurrection in Bagbag: Maxime Paterne of the Province of Africa; Archie Pérez Villegas, of the province of Japan-Philippines; Dion Caritas Ribu Watun and Tri (Stephanus) Trihantoro of the Province of Indonesia and Arul Esthakkiyan of the Region of India. The other three: José Rodríguez (province of Iberia), Carlos Cuevas (Province of México) and Óscar Casanueva (Province of Chile) will make their final profession next year in their respective countries.
