On Tuesday, February 5, 2013, Carlos Alonso Cuevas Solis and Gustavo Barreto Betancourt made their first religious professions in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, the place where they were born.
The celebration was prepared by Carlos and Gustavo accompanied by Enrique Ramirez, Coordinator of Initial Formation, and Juan Manuel Torres, who was a formator at the Mexican postulancy and currently living in the community of temporary professed in Santiago.
The Eucharistic assembly consisted of the parishioners of the diocesan Parish of St. Vicenta Maria Lopez Vicuña, the Sacred Hearts brothers and some other religious and seminarians friends of Carlos and Gustavo. At the end of the liturgy an agape was prepared by the parish community.
In truth, the Congregation rejoices and in particular our Mexican Province. We wish to congratulate our brothers for this commitment to the Lord Jesus, and that their joy becomes charity and proclamation of the Gospel in the manner of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
