The first Sacred Hearts Meeting of Altar Boys took place from the 1st to the 3rd of May 2015 in the monastery Christus Rex in Polanica Zdrój.
It was wonderful time of joy and a good way of sharing our charism with the youth. The meeting was prepared and hosted by Fr. Tomasz Pawlukowski sscc and Fr. Kamil Wawro sscc with the direction of our Provincial Fr. Piotr Budrewicz sscc.
In monastery, the altar boys gathered from 5 different parishes where our priests are working: Wroclaw, Owinska, Polanica Zdrój, Cieszecin and Gwizdaly. Altogether there were 38 boys. Some of them came together with their parents and siblings.
During meeting was time for prayer, recreation, and football competition for the Provincial’s Cup which was won by altar boys from Cieszecin. We are very happy that this meeting was held. This was a good opportunity to share our sscc spirit with the youth. As a result, we are full of confidence to organize this kind of event again next year.
