In communion with WYD Lisbon and Pope Francis, the sscc youth from Moorea are leaving by boat for the local WYD being celebrated in Tahiti with our Archbishop Mgr Jean Pierre Cottenceau sscc. Friday evening was the welcome, the opening mass and the Way of the Cross (a station had been prepared by Moorea). On Saturday there will be a youth mass in the morning, a themed activity (the theme citing Mary is “she got up and set out in a hurry”. The evening will be a more spiritual event (Moorea will present its 4 patron saints St Patrick, the Holy Family, St. Michael and St Joseph). There will be adoration until dawn and on Sunday the closing mass at Paofai Park.
