Towards the end of April, Claude Stockebrand sscc and Fernand Dussart sscc decided to leave their apartment on Quai de Arthur Rimbaud (Charleroi, Belgium) to move into a care home for the elderly.
Since the death of Édouard Brion sscc, the flat has become too big for them. There were different proposals to make better use of the space, but finally the brothers decided to move to a home where they will be cared for when they need it.
For the moment only Fernand has moved into the home. Claude is waiting for a flat to become free. As it is only 10 minutes away from their old home, Claude visits Fernand several times a day. In the morning they pray Lauds and breakfast together, then they prepare lunch together and in the evening they do adoration in the chapel at home and have dinner together. For the time being they don't need any further care. Fernand is seen by a nurse. Being in this new residence leaves them assured of what they need in the future.
This is a good witness of two religious who will live their advanced years among many other people in a secular institution.
