About three years ago, the Archdiocese of Guayaquil, together with committed Catholics, created a food bank to support the parish Caritas. Now they are helping with food rations for the most needy. Guayaquil is a city, as our sscc brothers have noted, in which deaths from coronavirus have multiplied. The community is helping in this exercise of charity and also with liturgies for the dead. In the SSCC Parish they have received 400 rations of food for the needy and in the Railway Parish 100 rations have already been distributed.
The sscc brothers are well, facing, through the prism of Easter Faith, these severe moments of hardship that have hit the south of the city.
