On Tuesday, March 17, Enrique Ramírez sscc and Jean Blaise Mwanda sscc went to visit the SSCC sisters of the Saint Joseph community in Quito. They were accompanied by two brothers, Salomón Sarango and Nilo Pinzón. After a moment of dialogue, we shared lunch together.
Right afterward, they went to greet our brother David de la Torre sscc, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Quito and Secretary General of the Episcopal Conference of Ecuador. He spoke about the activities of this institution.

Then, they went to visit Monsignor Alfredo José Espinoza Mateus SDB, Archbishop of Quito. He shared his experience leading the Church of Quito: ongoing formation of the clergy, the laity, religious life, vocational culture, and the option for young people. As a good Salesian, he reminded the brothers (Nilo and Salomón) not to forget the youth. For him, what matters most is the way of approaching them: football, closeness, and calling them by their names.
