On Thursday, 27 June, on the eve of the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Fr Juan Luis Schuester museum was officially opened in the SSCC Recoleta convent in the center of Lima (Peru). The inauguration was preceded by an exhibition presented by Fredy Caballero who covered the convent, the church and the Plaza de la Recoleta since its foundation in 1606. Following the presentation, the ribbon was cut and the museum's plaque was unveiled, showing the history of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts in Peru from 1848 to the present, as well as a prayer room established in 1940.
