Integration through questions

Our capitulants María Luisa Silverio and Álex Vigueras guided this mornings integration session (2nd September) where we had 12 different groups, with an average of 6 or 7 members in each. The first part was a time of reflection, where each brother or sister thought about two important changes in their life (I.e. a place where they lived, worked, a change in health, the death of someone important, a change of religious community, or of pastoral place, etc.)

The second part of the session addressed each person's expectation for the General Chapter. The capitulants were asked to reflect on and share, in a spiritual conversation, about their ‘realistic’ expectations, dreams and fears for the Chapter. In the next part of the process, they shared what resonated with them from what other people had said, and then what God was saying in what was shared and heard.

In the final sharing it was mentioned that this time of Chapter opens to us the newness and audacity of the Spirit, capable of transmitting the depth of expectations, in harmony with the synodal Church.
