Inter-religious dialogue - through song

In this video, a group of Indonesian priests, nuns and students are singing a song to greet the Muslim community, especially those in Indonesia who are celebrating Lebaran. Lebaran is a joyful moment when Muslims come together with their families seeking reconciliation. The video was taken on 1 June at the Indonesian Embassy to the Holy See in Rome at the celebration of the feast of PANCASILA - the five principle's underpinning the foundation of Indonesia. It has been published on Indonesia Television. Fr Thomas Sukotriraharjo and Fr Paulus Halek were delighted to join in this joyful greeting to all Muslim people. We hope that all had a good opportunity to celebrate and share the joy of Lebaran.

Bravo! Congratulations to IRIKKA and REHAT members who together with Mr. Agus Sriyono, the Indonesian Ambassador for Vatican, have produced this peaceful inter-religious gesture.
