The International Commission for Initial Formation of the Congregation met at the General House of the Sisters from 19 to 25 October, to finalize the proposals on the Initial Formation which will be presented in the Council of the Congregation:
• Proposal of the Common plan for Initial Formation for the Congregation
• Possible structure of the stages of Initial Formation
• Proposal of a plan for formation of Formators
• Possible model of the global structure of the Team of Initial Formation in the Congregation.
We worked on these areas in a cordial atmosphere of respect, openness, and acceptance of differences. We are happy to be able to present to the Congregation the draft of this plan of Initial Formation which is the fruit of the significant contribution of all the sisters and Initial Formation Teams of the Congregation.
We are grateful to the sisters of the General House for creating an atmosphere of hospitality and family spirit which has facilitated our work, our reflection and our sharing.
We also thank each one of the Sisters and Brothers of the Congregation for their unconditional support in prayer.
