Latin America Interprovincial Novitiate

January 16th marked the beginning of the Interprovincial Novitiate in Latin America, when Jesús David Granadeño Ramírez, (Province of Mexico), Douglas Alves dos Santos and Wallison Santos Sousa, (Province of Brazil), in an emotive liturgy, solemnly formulated their resolutions to commit themselves to live this year seeking God's will, in the hope of making their profession as religious of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts.

This year of formation is taking place in the town of Libertad - Merlo, in the province of Buenos Aires (Argentina). The novices will be accompanied by the Novice Master, Cristian Sandoval sscc and the associate Arnaldo Jara sscc. Nelson Rivera sscc, parish priest and moderator of the parish of San José de Libertad, and brother Antoine Mennecier sscc (France) who is doing his pastoral year in this community, also form part of the community.

Sandro Mancilla, the Provincial Superior of Chile-Argentina, Sandro Mancilla sscc, attended the liturgy and accepted the promises of the three novices to prepare themselves for their religious profession.
