The parable of the sower is the text that marks the end of this first week of the Enclave; it reminds us that, on our journey as consecrated persons, both individually and as a community, we have received seeds of LIFE that we must nurture, for the fruit we bear is life for the community and the mission. We devoted the first few days of this week to getting to know one another and integrating into communities of life; on Wednesday, we held a retreat to reflect on our vocational calling. We then had three days of workshops with psychologist Mabel Magallanes on the life cycle of adulthood from 30 to 75, emphasising care for the community and within the community, whilst committing ourselves to self-care.
The sisters and brothers have shown a very positive attitude; their simplicity, sincerity and warmth have fostered a family-like atmosphere of sharing.
