On Thursday, November 15, at the College of Journalists of Catalunya, based in Barcelona, Magazine 21 received the XIII Joan Gomis Memorial award in recognition of its journalistic career. The director of Magazine 21, Carlos Barahona sscc, thanked the jury, the founders, the co-workers and the faithful readers of the publication for the award. He also acknowledged the successive editorial teams who have worked with 21 over the last 100 years as well as the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts, "in which the magazine was born and still lives".
The ‘Joan Gomis Memorial Prize’ recognizes the journalistic endeavours to highlight the struggles against inequality, poverty and social exclusion, and promote justice, peace and human rights.
